Jeremy Moretti and Chase DeLuca have grown up together and into different MCs. Their lives were promised and destined to the Condemned Angels and Hell's Rebels. As they grew, so did Chase's feelings for Jeremy's younger sister, Roxanne.
Stemming from separate clubs, they have all the stakes against them. Michael Moretti, President of the Condemned Angels has forewarned Chase to stay away from his daughter. There is too much at risk and clubs stick to their own. No mixing whatsoever.
The years apart have done them good, however, Roxanne has finished school and is back home, and back in Chase's life. However, she isn't alone. Roxanne is dating the Treasurer of her father's club.
Things start to go wrong as their secret feelings grow stronger for one another. Will Chase fight for what has always been his, or will the MC stand in his way
As a HUGE fan of Sons of Anarchy (because who isn’t??) I was super excited when I was approached about the Blog Tour for Burning Desire. I read a ton of romance, but I’ve never read about an MC club! I was cautiously optimistic when I started this book, but I couldn’t put it down!
Chase and Roxy are two incredibly dynamic characters – each does a fantastic job of carrying the story on their own! And of course, one of my favorite romance hooks is the brothers best friend storyline! Add in a bit of a star-crossed lovers story and I’m hooked for sure. And of course, Chase as more than enough of the bad boy element to leave anyone swooning.
Heather Leigh’s writing is new to me, and I’m so glad I had the chance to pick this one up. Her writing is realistic and fast paced with plenty of action. Her steamy scenes are fantastic, and her characters have depth that keeps the scenes going. I sat down to start reading while my daughter was playing in the backyard, luckily she kept herself entertained because I couldn’t put this one down!
If I had to find a group of people to recommend this new series too, fans of K.A. Tucker’s Ten Tiny Breaths series will enjoy this new seires! It has a similar feel, the bad boys made good sort of thing.
