I was a bit hesitant going into Learning to Spy because of how underwhelmed I was by Captive. Unfortunately, it looks like my instincts were correct.
In this installment, Prenitss has decided to try to learn more about her captors, since Cleve’s death has convinced her that trying to escape is not her best bet. However, I elt like her making this decision was the biggest even to happen in Learning to Spy. I didn’t feel like we really learned anything new.
Overall, Learning to Spy was not a great installment on its own. However, I may continue reading the serial because I’m still curious as to what exactly is going on.
