Series: The Arrangement #5

Genres: New Adult, Romance
Avery's emotions are fried, but she doesn't have to think twice about her BFFs Marty and Mel. They mean everything to her. They're the family she doesn't have. In a crisis, they're the people to have by her side, and God knows this is a crisis. Friends like that are worth their weight in gold.
If only things with Sean were so simple. Regret is something that is impossible to subdue. There are still things to be said, things to do. Life is too short to live in the past, but when Avery wakes up at the hospital she finds that her world has changed.
As you can tell by my recent reviews, I am binge-reading the Ferro family novels by H.M. Ward, and I am thoroughly enjoying them.
As I’ve moved through the 5th, 6th, and 7th installments of the Arrangement serial, I am getting more and more invested. There are some things that I’ve seen coming and some things that have me raising an eyebrow, but there’s also a lot that I like. I’m starting to get more answers to questions that I’ve had since early on, and things are starting to get more interesting. There’s more drama and more romance. And each serial ends on a cliffhanger that makes me have to start the next installment before I can go to bed at night (Needless to say, my sleep is suffering!).
Avery’s relationships with just about everyone are becoming more complicated and more. I find myself constantly thinking about what’s going on, even when I’m not reading.
The Arrangement 7 didn’t seem to end on as much of a cliffhanger as the other two, which is good, since I’m moving back to Damaged 2 after this. (I’m following a Ferro family reading plan that has me switching between The Arrangement and other series) But the plot is starting to thicken, so I’m definitely going to keep going with this series!
