Sometimes wrong can feel oh so right . . .
Jenna Lacombe needs complete control, whether it’s in the streets . . . or between the sheets. So when she sets out on a solo road trip to visit her family in New Orleans, she’s beyond annoyed that the infuriatingly sexy Jack Oliver wants to hitch a ride with her. Ever since they shared a wild night together last year, he’s been trying to strip away her defenses one by one. He claims he’s just coming along to keep her safe-but what’s not safe for her is prolonged exposure to the tattooed hottie.
Jack can’t get Jenna out from under his skin. She makes him feel alive again after his old life nearly destroyed him-and losing her is not an option. Now Jack’s troubles are catching up to him, and he’s forced to return to his hometown in Louisiana. But when his secrets put them both in harm’s way, Jenna will have to figure out how far she’s willing to let love in . . . and how much she already has.
Jack and Jenna are hands down my favorite New Adult read this year!! (It’s really not much of a debate, they are so phenomenal!) The road trip, combined with their history and the mystery of Jack’s missing brother? I was hooked from the first sentence and couldn’t put it down! And the steamy scenes?!?! Holy Wow! They were delicious!
Seriously though! Jack is smokin’ hot! He’s got this awesome mix of bad boy and nice guy going on – seriously, he’s got dual personalities! It’s fantastic! And Jenna has a VooDoo history, mixed with her cautiousness around guys – because every man in her life has left! And OMG! I just love love love this book! (Seriously, I’m gushing, I know it – but this book is THAT good!)
Chelsea Fine has this absolutely raw writing style that is so incredibly unique, I can’t help but fall in love with her books! I can’t even write a coherent review 2 days later because I just loved this story that much! There were so many feels it was fantastic! The only negative thing I can say is that it’s the final book in this amazing trilogy!
