Before you get down on bended knee… …you should be pretty darn sure the answer will be yes. For ten years, Connor O'Rourke has been waiting for Jessica Dunn to take their on-again, off-again relationship public, and he thinks the time has come. His restaurant is thriving, she's got her dream job at Blue Heron Vineyard—it's the perfect time to get married.  When he pops the question, however, her answer is a fond but firm no. If it ain't broke, why fix it? Jess has her hands full with her younger brother, who's now living with her full-time, and a great career after years of waitressing. What she and Connor have is perfect: friends with an excellent benefits package. Besides, with her difficult past (and reputation), she's positive married life isn't for her. But this time, Connor says it's all or nothing. If she doesn't want to marry him, he'll find someone who does. Easier said than done, given that he's never loved anyone but her. And maybe Jessica isn't quite as sure as she thinks…

The Blue Heron Winery has been one o my most enjoyed series of the past few years, and I approached Anything for You – Book #5 – with caution. I knew it was the final book, and that breaks my heart. But Kristan Higgins really knocks it out of the park with this one!

We finally get Connor’s story!! I have loved Connor since we first got to know him (and his awesome twin sister, Colleen) in Waiting On You! And his love for Jess is something that I couldn’t get enough of! He has been in love with her since he was 12!!! (Come on, you’ve gotta love that!)

Jess is a tough cookie. I wanted to just scream at her sometimes – I mean, come on!!! Just let yourself fall in love! But? I understand – she’s her little brother’s legal guardian, and she’s had an incredibly tough life. So I get it. But that doesn’t make it less frustrating!

What it comes down to? Kristan Higgins has a book that will tug at all of your emotions. You’ll laugh out loud. You’ll cheer for your beloved characters. You’ll swoon at some of the amazing things Connor does. And you’ll feel right at home in this sweet town full of familiar characters. Definitely a satisfactory ending to a beloved series!
