Learning that her mysterious rescuer, Hudson Kincaid, is also the subject of the mural she's been commissioned to paint in Cedar Ridge, Bailey is intrigued. As she uncovers the real man behind Hudson's strong, silent facade, Bailey begins to realise that the life of adventure she has always dreamed of could be closer to home than she ever imagined.Want more warm, funny romance? Don't miss the first Cedar Ridge novel, Second Chance Summer, visit spellbinding Lucky Harbor or experience some Animal Magnetism in Sunshine, Idaho in Jill's other unforgettable series.
I’ve been in a pretty bad reading slump. Picking up books, and not being able to get to that “hooked” point. So I was nervous when I picked up “My Kind of Wonderful”; I love Jill Shalvis and I didn’t want to feel disappointed. (And I wasn’t!! Not in the slightest!!) I absolutely loved EVERY minute of this book – and promptly purchased the first book in the Cedar Ridge series (unsure of how I missed it the first time around) and will be reading it as soon as I finish this review.
I think the Kincaid’s may be my new favorite family!! (They remind me a lot of Shannon Stacey’s Kowalski bunch) and Hudson? WOWZA!!! I am so glad I kicked off 2016 with such an amazing book boyfriend! He is smokin’ hot, and so brooding that you can’t help but love him! And his family? There is no better way to describe this bunch than HILARIOUS!!
Bailey? She is the best kind of leading lady! She’s got tragedy, but she has overcome. In a big way. And now she’s fighting her heart, and you know how it’s going to end! But you can’t help but love the ride you’re on with her!!
My Kind of Wonderful is the best book I’ve read in AGES! (I’ve been in a huge slump, and I’m so glad that Jill Shalvis has broken that slump for me!)
