Copper Ridge, Oregon's favorite bachelor is about to meet his match If the devil wore flannel, he'd look like Ace Thompson. He's gruff. Opinionated. Infernally hot. The last person that Sierra West wants to ask for a bartending job--not that she has a choice. Ever since discovering that her
Maisey Yates and her Copper Ridge series is my current favorite contemporary romance!! (I have to admit here that I own everything available in this series in eBook, Print and Audio.)
This story between Ace and Sierra? I LOVED IT!!! I loved the aspect of the poor-little-rich-girl. I loved Ace’s backstory, even though it broke my heart. And holy wow was he smokin hot!!!
Here’s the thing – had I known that this was a surprise pregnancy book? I would have probably skipped it. I hate that cliche. I never like those books. Never. Except here. I loved it. LOVED IT!! (It was a huge part of the plot, but it didn’t overtake the story.)
The banter between Ace and Sierra is fantastic. They go toe-to-toe so often that I absolutely love it! And I really loved the battle of the witts in some cases! And the falling for your boss bit? I kind of loved it! (It’s been a long time since I’ve had a job where that was plausible… like probably high school! HA HA! So it’s a fun escape from real life.)
If you’re a fan of Jill Shalvis, Susan Mallery or Shannon Stacey? You’ll love this book!
